This year our church is hosting the weekly “20 Minutes with God” Wednesday services offered by the Ministerial Association.  This is a great honor and opportunity to serve our community!  Pastor Sally will offer the meditation on the first Wednesday, February 21st.  The messages the following 4 weeks will be offered by area ministers.

Our church has several responsibilities with hosting this event.  We will greet and usher at each service.  We will also host the luncheon.  Soup and sandwiches will be provided by other area churches, but we will set up, serve the meal and clean up afterward.  We will also provide the table service and beverages!  So, we have a job to do!  Do you want to help?  Doug Wood (344-5060) is organizing the meal service.  Adi Veenendaal (324-3889) is organizing the hospitality in the sanctuary – greeters and ushers.  Call Doug or Adi to volunteer for any of the five Wednesdays we are hosting: (2/21, 2/28, 3/7, 3/14, & 3/21).

Lastly, please plan to attend the 20 Minutes with God services if you can.  They start promptly at noon.  The service is about 20 minutes long and the luncheon follows with the goal of getting people back to work by 1:00 PM.  Typically, the host church members make a great effort to attend services so they can welcome the community to their church!  What a nice opportunity for the Presbyterians to shine!
